Thousand Islands to Hold Water Sport Competition in November

Thousand Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-department (Sudinparbud) will hold water sport competition in two inhabited islands.

We will also hold flyboard and aquathlon

Thousand Islands Sudinparbud Head, Cucu Ahmad Kurnia explained, water sport competition will be held to commemorate the 18st Anniversary of Thousand Islands. According to plan, this competition will be held in Pramuka Island on November 16 and Tidung Island on November 23, 2019.

"We also expect this competition to promote our tourism," he asserted, Wednesday (10/30).

Thousand Islands has Potential for Fishing Tourism

There are various competitions in this event, such as traditional boat race, boat tug-of-war game, duck catching contest, sampan rowing contest, traditional boat race, and jet ski.

"We will also hold flyboard and aquathlon," he stated.
